EVENT LOCATION
Start and Finish:
Professor’s Lake Recreation Centre
1660 North Park Road
Brampton, Ontario
L6S 4B4
Course:
- Starting in the Professor’s Lake parking lot
- Left and continue out of parking lot
- Right onto North Park Drive
- Run to turnaround at Pleasant Valley Place
- After turnaround continue on North Park Drive
- Left on Panda Lane
- Left on Porteous Circle
- Left on to path and follow around the lake
- Left on Professors Lake Parkway
- Left on Pepperwood Place
- Enter path at end of Pepperwood Place
- Continue to follow the lake path
- Right at the parking lot
- Left towards the finish area
COURSE INFORMATION
Volunteers and First Aid will be available along the route to assist you if needed.
The route is flat and fast, with only a few small hills.
Please stay on the path and sidewalks as roadways will not be closed for the race. Please use caution when crossing an intersection.
Water Station
One water station will be available at the ½ way mark.
Washrooms and Changing
Washrooms and changing facilities in the Professors Lake Recreation Centre will be open and available for use.
Walkers and Time Limits
Want to walk the course, you’re more than welcome to. We only ask that you line up behind the runners. A two hour time limit is placed on the race which will leave plenty of time to finish comfortably.
Strollers, Pets and Roller Blades
Please no pets or roller blades are allowed on the course for safety reasons. Strollers are permitted, but should line up near the rear of the start line.

Designated parking for the event will be available at:
Professors Lake Recreation Centre (Capacity 80 cars)

Additional parking:

And nearby street parking in the event of full lots at the Rec Centre and school.

RACE KIT PICK-UP
Running Room @Winston Churchill Fri 6th September, 2019: 4 pm-8 pm
Running Room @Winston Churchill Sat 7th September, 2019: 10 am-4 pm
Race day kit pickup is at Professor’s Lake on Sun 8th September, 2019: 7:30 am-8:30 am
Race Kits
Your race kit will include your bib, timing chip and technical shirt.
Race Bibs and Timing Chips
Your timing chip is integrated with the bib. Please be sure to write your full name, emergency contact information and any allergies or health conditions you have on the back of your race bib.
Bag Check
An area inside the Professors Lake Recreation Centre will be designated as a bag drop location. We strongly recommend that you leave your valuables at home.
POST RACE
Indoor washrooms are available. Snacks and water will be available.
MEDALS AND PRIZES
All participants will receive a medal at the finish line
- Top 3 finishers male and female will be awarded
- Draw prizes – post race (Stay for the awards to be eligible)
